[WDJ is Going Digital]

Sheri Doniger

November 15, 2007

Great news! Woman Dentist Journal will be published completely online beginning next month. How easy is that? You’ll have an immediate link to news, industry innovations, new products, and continuing education. As of December, Woman Dentist e-Journal will be your all-digital source. We don’t want you to miss a single word of women’s dental information. The WDJ Web site will offer up-to-the-minute health and industry news in addition to links to our current e-journal. We’ll continue the tradition of providing quality editorial on products, procedures, and techniques in addition to life, health, and security topics.

WDe-J will offer more practice information that you can use from the time you first open your practice door until you lock up for the last time and settle into retirement. We’ll also have more financial and money-management features. We strive to be your go-to source for information on all forms of office management, legal issues, and even office design. We will continue our “Dentists Can Cook!” column featuring well known chefs and cookbook authors who share meal tips that fit into our busy lives. In addition, we look forward to continued columns from nutritionists and fitness experts to keep you healthy while you balance your professional and personal worlds.

Another ongoing staple will be our “Woman Speak” section. It’s the only link where you’ll find which women are speaking where. If you’re presenting, lecturing, or speaking, please send us your information. We’ll post your program or meeting for free.

One of our new enhancements will be “Ask the Experts.” You’ll be able to pose questions monthly to experts and receive their valuable responses. We look forward to hearing which topics you’re interested in, whether they’re new technologies or old standards.

WDe-J will appear in your e-mailboxes during the third week of the month, but only if you visit www.wdjournal.com and click “e-newsletters.” Some of you might need to adjust your spam filters to allow the e-journal to be delivered. If you have any problems receiving your e-journal, please e-mail me at sherid@pennwell.com.

We’re still here for you, connecting all women in dentistry through education, enrichment, and personal development. We are the digital, independent community for women dentists in which everyone can participate, so don’t miss a single word. Sign up for your WDe-J today, and don’t forget to bookmark the WDJ Web site - your link to all that is dentistry for women. Exciting things are happening, and you won’t want to miss any of them.

With warm regards,

P.S. If you don’t subscribe specifically to the e-journal, you won’t receive it. (We neither sell our e-mail lists nor buy others, so we promise not to clog your inbox.)
