YORK, Pennsylvania--Miltex Inc., a manufacturer of handheld surgical and dental instruments sold through authorized distributors to the health-care market, has announced the release of a new Short Handled Biopsy Punch.

The punch features a shorter handle for easier access in hard to reach areas.

The new biopsy punch features the same sharp blade as other Miltex biopsy punches, but the shorter handle makes it ideal for securing a biopsy of tissue in the mouth.

Also like the company's current line of biopsy punches, it is disposable and is delivered to the dentists' offices individually wrapped and sterile. The Short Handled Biopsy Punch will be offered in four sizes for dental offices: 3.5mm, 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm.
